A cyclical alternation in pressure or direction of movement.

Vibration Curve
Vibration Criteria is determined by a set of curves for acceptable vibration levels in buildings for continuous vibration. These are called Vibration Curves and are denoted by alphabets from 'A' to 'J'. Curve 'A' is the smoothest and Curve 'J' the harshest.

Vibration Isolation
Any of several means of minimising transmission of structure-borne sound from a vibrating body to the structure in or on which it is mounted.

Slang expression for sound level.
